Hello everyone! Welcome to my website. My name is Amanda E. Loyd and I am the owner & operator of Amanda Elaine Images.

Q. How did you know you wanted to be a photographer?
A. I found my passion for photography when I was 15. I received my first 35mm SLR camera from my father for Christmas. I knew way back then that this is what I was made to do.

Q. What training/education do you have in this field?
A. I graduated from University of Nevada at Reno in December of 2008 with my Bachelor's in Photography and Digital Imaging.

Q. When was your business launched?
A. I started AE Images in late December of 2008.

Q. What is your favorite subject to photograph?
A. First it would be my god daughter, Alize. I specialize in children and maternity sessions. I just started participating in an organization called OP Love. It's a great cause that allows photographers to donate their time to military families. That is quickly becoming a favorite! I guess I just love it all, lol.

Q. What's your photographic style?
A. Well I tend to be a think out of the box kinda gal. I like to use props. I like dark settings and dim lights. But above all of that I love shooting in black & white.

Q. What kind of camera do you use?
A. Strictly Canon. I have been using them for years! Hey Canon if you're reading this I would love to be in a commercial! :) I do switch between 35mm (Canon Rebel) and digital (Canon D30 & D40).

Q. Any advice for inspiring photographers?
A. Yes, first you have to have confidence in your ability. Lack of self esteem will produce lack luster photographs. Also don't be afraid to try different things. You never know what greatness you will stumble upon!

Consultation to plan your session, 2 hour session, 1 outfit change, and 20 digital files*.

Brand New - $75
photos of your bundle of joy within the first 3 days of delivery (typically done in the hospital), 45 minutes session, and 10 digital files*.

Baby's First Year - $250
Consultation to plan your session, your choice of two schedules, 2 hour session, up to two outfit changes, 20 digital files* with each photo session.

schedule options: option a) newborn, six months, 1 year. option b) four months, eight months, 1 year.

Milestones - $400
Milestones is all inclusive package. Sessions done at the maternity, newborn, three month, six month, and 1 year stages. Every session includes:

Consultation to plan your session, 2 hour session (with the exception of the newborn session. This session will be extended to 1 hour), up to 2 outfit changes (with the exception of the newborn session), 20 digital files*.

Kiddos - $150
Consultation to plan your session, 2 hour session, up to 2 outfit changes, up to 4 kids (any additional will be $5/child) 20 digital files*.

Family - $150
Consultation to plan your session, 2 hour session, up to 2 outfit changes, up to 4 kids (any additional will be $5/child), up to 2 adults, 20 digital files*.

Seniors - $150
Consultation to plan your session, 2 hour session, 2 outfit changes, 15 digital files*.

Friendship - $100
Consultation to plan your session, 1 hour session, up to 3 people, 1 outfit change, 10 digital files*.

Boudoir - $150
Consultation to plan your session, session held at local hotel, 1 hour session, 1 outfit change, 15 digital files*.

Head Shots - $50
Consultation to plan your session, 45 minute session, 5 digital files*.

Pets - $50
Consultation to plan your session, 45 minute session, 5 digital files*.

*50% of my pet portrait earnings go to my charity of choice, the ASPCA.

Consultation to plan your session, 3 hour session, 30 digital files* included.

Consultation to plan your session, 1 hour session, 10 digital files*.
